Columbia, SC - Alice Cantada Norton, 53, of Columbia, SC died Wednesday, 5 May 2010. She was a native of the Philippines, and a daughter of Santos and Milagros Cantada of Oxnard, Ca. Alice was a professional singer and a loving homemaker with a gentle heart and loving smile. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister who will be missed deeply by all of those who love her. She loved JESUS and was a born again Christian.

She is survived by her husband, Elliotte Nathan Norton of Columbia, SC, a daughter; Alexandria Baker of Columbia, SC, three brothers; Israel, Noel, and Leo Cantada of Oxnard, CA, two sisters; Elizabeth Cummins of California and Rosarie Emmeneggar of Cavite, Philippines and numerous nieces and nephews.



Graveside services will be held, 11:00 am, Tuesday, 11 May 2010 at Gillespie-Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Malcom Lance officiating. The family will receive friends 11:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday, 10 May 2010 at Moore Funeral Home.
