Branch Paxton Iii

Branch Elmiras Paxton, III, 64, of Brevard, NC passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 30, 2019.  A native of Transylvania County, NC he was a son of the late Thomas Wood and Jeraldine Raxter Paxton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by twin grandsons; Joshua Branch Paxton, Jr. and Justin Gordon Paxton and a brother Woody Paxton.

Branch attended Brevard High School.  He was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast. He was a five year cancer survivor and was a 12 year member of AA. He was a dog lover.

He is survived by four children; Jessica Paxton Privette (Jeff) of Hendersonville, NC, Joshua Paxton (Kelly) of Brevard, NC, Dory Paxton of Boiling Springs Lake, NC Niles Paxton of Asheville, NC, two sisters; Mary Alice Laforenza of Brevard, NC and Angie Robertson of Brevard, NC, five grandchildren; Clayton and Chase Privette, Krisstiona and Kindall Paxton and True Paxton and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Lee Nichols officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
