Carol Olds

Carol Gay Olds, 75, of Pisgah Forest, NC passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019.  She was born December 17, 1943 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Carl and Florence Phinney.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Phinney and a sister, Ann Phinney Struber.

Carol was a member of St. Philips Episcopal Church and she volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years.  She attended Michigan State University.  Carol was a pioneer in computer driven residential estimation.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Glen Olds, two sons: Jack Morris (Vicky) of Tarpon Springs, FL and Jeff Morris (Joan) of Newport Richey, FL, one sister, Ruth Caron (Glenn) of Kalamazoo, MI, one brother, Carl Phinney, of Cadillac, MI and numerous nephews.

No local services are planned at this time.  Interment will be at a later date at St. Paul in the Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elizabeth House at Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Street, Flat Rock, NC 28712.
