Carol Watkin

Carol Snyder Watkin, 89, of Brevard, died Saturday June 1, 2012 at her residence.

Carol was was born in Burlington, Iowa. She was the daughter of Edward and Adelaide Snyder. Carol graduated from the University of Iowa, where she was crowned homecoming queen. she also loved to paint and was known for her water color art work.

She is survived by her four sons; William W. Watkin, III of Maine, Thomas S. Watkin, of Vermont, Andrew T. Watkin of Winston-Salem, NC, and John T. Watkin of Chapel Hill, NC.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Andrew Nowak officiating. Immediately following the service lunch will be served in the fellowship hall.
