Carolyn Childress

Carolyn M. Owen Childress, 77, of Boynton Beach, Florida and formerly of Brevard, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015. A native of Greenville, SC., she was the daughter of the late R.E. and Cora Lucille Turner Moody. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Katheryn Moody, husband Randall "Tommy" Owen and her second husband Albert Childress.
Loving survivors include her son, Jeff Owen and wife Marti, of Boynton Beach, Fl.; Sisters Betty Tinsley and husband Fred of Brevard, and Gloria Wilson and husband Michael of Horseshoe; and three grandchildren: Josh, Jake and Jonathon Owen of Boynton Beach, Florida.
Funeral services for Carolyn Owen Childress will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church of Brevard with Rev. Shane Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service.
