Christopher Ware

Christopher Watson Ware, 71, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Charles F. George V.A. Medical Center in Asheville. Born in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Marion Dargan and Helen Maner Mixson Ware.

A U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Ware worked in the area of Wildlife and Forestry in Arkansas and North Carolina until retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lillian Cox Ware; sons Dargan Maner Ware (Kristi) of Birmingham, Al and Gregrory Linton Ware (Stephanie) of Augusta, GA; daughter Rachel Meghan Ware of Brevard; grandchildren Benjamin Ware and Sharon Ware; sister Debbie Parrish (Rod) of Brevard; and numerous cousins.

Graveside Services for Mr. Ware will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in the family section of Dunn's Creek Cemetery with Rev. Carter Heyward officiating.
