Clovey Galloway

Clovey Inez Galloway, 94, of Rosman, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2026. A lifelong resident of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Annie Masters. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Galloway, 5 brothers: Marshall, Guy, Gene, Joe and Bud; and her three sisters: Pauline Owen, Opalee Chapman and Shelby Hobbie; and her daughter, Faye Galloway.

Besides raising 8 children, gardening and canning vegetables her whole life, she also worked for Singer and later with home healthcare. She will forever be missed but never forgotten. The world is dimmer now, but Heaven shines so bright.

Her loving survivors include her sister, Becky Richardson (David); her five daughters: Deborah Bowen, Joyce Reece, Sheila Lusk (William), Lorie Galloway (Joe), Angie Reece (Cameron) and two sons, Garvis Galloway and Randall Galloway (Kelly); 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Rocky Bottom Baptist Church in Sunset, SC with Rev. Chris Owen, Rev. Mike Pressley and Rev. Chester Chappell officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday evening, February 10, 2026, at Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations in Brevard.
