Donald Lee Moore III

Brevard - Donald Lee Moore III, 32 of Spartanburg, SC formerly of Savannah, GA died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at his residence.

A native of Savannah, GA, he was a graduate of Savannah Country Day School and Davidson College.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Moore, Sr., and his maternal grandparents; the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Leland Chandler, Jr. of Southern Pines, NC.

Lee is survived by his parents; Donald Lee Moore, Jr. and Roselyn C. Moore of Brevard; his wife, Stephanie Smith Moore of Spartanburg, SC; sisters; Natalie Moore Solomon of Atlanta, GA, Jennifer Moore Black of Charleston, SC, Katie Moore Durkee of Macon, GA, Jaime Moore Wall of Spartanburg, SC; and four nieces and four nephews. Also, an Aunt and Uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Lanny Cole of Davidson, NC.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Brevard, NC at 10:00am with Rev. Mike Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Gillespie-Evergreen Cemetery in Brevard, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brevard College, c/o Friends of the Fine Arts, 1 Brevard College Dr., Brevard, NC 28712 or to the Transylvania Animal Alliance Group, PO Box 844, Brevard, NC 28712.
