Dorothy Louise Dalton Banning
Brevard - Dorothy Louise Dalton Banning, 91, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at The Oaks of Brevard.

A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Eli Jerome and Ada Owenby Banning. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Owen Banning and a daughter, Patsy Banning Masters.

Dorothy was a member of In The Bible Mission Church of Brevard and also a member of the Foster Grandparents Program of Transylvania and Buncombe Counties.

Surviving are her two sisters, Ada D. Rudisail and Opal D. Parkinson both of Etowah; two granddaughters, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 1:30PM at Pisgah Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating.
