Florence E. Thiem, 97, of Brevard, passed away on December 11, 2014 at The Oaks of Brevard. A native of Chester, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Thiem was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Teresa Slevin.
Mrs. Thiem is survived by daughters Patricia Hunt of Jacksonville, Florida and Mary Roe of Asheville, NC; son Gene Thiem of Florida; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass for Florence Thiem will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
