Gary Dwight Mason

Gary Mason, 63, of Horse Shoe, NC passed away Thursday evening, May 7,
after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Janet Mason, mother,
Delores Mason, brothers and spouses, Mark Mason, Steve and Anne Mason,
and Mike and Jody Mason as well as many nieces and nephews.

Born in Rockford, IL in 1962, he moved with his family to Evansville,
IN in 1965 and graduated from Memorial High School in 1981. He
graduated from Notre Dame with a chemical engineering degree in 1985
and began his career with Avery International. Gary lived in multiple
cities throughout his career including Ft Wayne, IN, Atlanta, GA, Hong
Kong, West Palm Beach, Fl and, finally, Horse Shoe, NC. He started and
operated for several years a small business in Horse Shoe, Mason Pack
and Ship. Gary and Janet were married October 25, 1991.

Memorial services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150
Brian Berg Dr, Brevard, NC, at 10:00 Am Saturday, May 30, 2026.
