Gary Dwight Mason

Gary Dwight Mason, 63, of Horse Shoe, NC, passed away on May 7, 2026. A native of Rockford, Illinois, he was the son of Delores Cummings mason and the late John Alan Mason.

A graduate of Memorial High School in Evansville, Indiana, Gary received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. During his career he worked in many cities around the world and in many capacities before moving to Horse Shoe, NC in 2003 where he started his own shipping business.

His survivors include his mother, Delores C. Mason; his wife of 35 years, Janet Lee Mason; his brothers Mark Mason, Steve Mason and Mike Mason, and a number of nieces and nephews.
