George Capps

George "Rick" Capps, 65, of Brevard, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018. A native of Henderson County, NC, he was the son of the late Woodrow Monroe and Ernestine Marjorie Ward Capps.

A welding instructor with Job Corps for almost 20 years, he was an avid music lover and guitarist, he also was a member of a Christian rock band for a time .
His loving survivors include his wife, Dianne Capps; sons Nathan Capps of Brevard and Tyler Capps of Denver, CO., and "Stevie Ray", his Lab-Rottweiler mix rescue dog.
