George Stanton

George Charles Stanton, 79, of Brevard, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at The Oaks of Brevard. A native of Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late George Francis and Mildred Ruth Johnson Stanton.
George graduated from Beloit College in 1960 with a degree in economics. He was a member of the Land of Waterfalls camera club, was a volunteer at the Brevard Music Center and Transylvania County Library, an avid reader and photographer.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia K. Stanton; his brother, Richard D. Stanton, Phd, nieces Ruth Stanton and Rebecca Stanton and nephew George R. Stanton, MD.
