Jack Paul Raffield

Jack Paul Raffield, 82, of Pisgah Forest, passed away on June 19, 2026. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Roby Paul and Naomi Hamilton Raffield. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Raffield, his son, Shane Raffield and his daughter, Tania Torrence; his brother Joe Raffield and his sister, Jean Dietz.

A man that worked hard all his life, he had a stern exterior but aggressively loved his family beyond measure. He was selfless and always worried about everyone. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, horses, and piddling around, but his great love was always his family and his Lord, Jesus Christ.

His loving survivors include his son, Chris Raffield (Carla); grandchildren: Shana Bentley (Clarence), Jeromy Raffied (Cassandra), Dakota Raffield (Charles), Taylor Brock (Clay), Codie Raffield, Cyler Raffield, Casper Raffield and Canyon Raffield; and great-grandchildren: Owen, Jeromiah, Shalynn, Taliyah, Wyatt, Rayna and Anaiah.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Blantyre Baptist Church in Pisgah Forest.
