James A. Moore, 52, of Horse Shoe, NC passed away January 15, 2013, at Transylvania Regional Hospital.  He was preceded in death by his mother; Patsy Mae Clontz Moore and a daughter; Nikki Moore who died in 2006.

He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father; Rev. Homer Moore, Jr and his step-mother, Betty of Asheville, NC,  his wife; Kim Moore, one son; Kane Moore of the home, four daughters; Chastity Moore of Brevard, NC, Destiny, Hope and Faith Owen, all of the home, three brothers; Larry Moore and his wife June of Laurens, SC, David Moore and his wife Monica of Horse Shoe, NC and Richard Moore  of Candler, NC, six grandchildren; Blake, Dawson, Dakota, Alexus, Cole, and Carmen, numerous nieces and nephews and his mother and father-in-law; Mike and Yvonne Owen.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, prior to the service.
