James Woodring

James Braxton Woodring, 78, of Brevard, passed away on September 26, 2018 at Accordius Healthcare of Brevard. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Joseph Earl and Elise Golden Woodring. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Woodring and his second wife, Donnie Woodring; his brother Joe Woodring and his sister Emma Jane Russell.

In his retirement, he enjoyed tending to flowers in his garden and being outside. He also enjoyed painting with colors.

His survivors include his brothers Vernon Woodring of Pisgah Forest, NC, and Robert Woodring of Brevard; his sisters Louise Rogers (Bobby) of Easley, SC, Dorothy Lee Lail of Easley, SC, Betsy Woodring of Liberty, SC, and Betty Woodring of Pickens, SC; several step-children and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held.
