Jean Margaret Dietz

Jean Margaret Raffield Dietz, a loving wife, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025 at the age of 87. She was born in Transylvania County on July 22, 1937. She was known for her ability to love, her kindness, strength and her gardening skills. Jean Dietz dedicated her life to her family and friends, always with a listening ear, a hug and a warm cup of coffee. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her father Paul Raffield, mother Naomi Raffield, Brother Joe Raffield, son Craig Aiken and a special sister in law Nancy Raffield.

She is survived by her husband Tony Dietz, daughter Sherry Mann (Charlie), grandson Stephen Mann (Courtney), granddaughter Leann Godsey (Anthony), great grandchildren Savannah Godsey, Cameron Godsey, Nick Mann, and Beckett Mann. She also leaves her stepdaughter Kellie Dietz and stepson Chris Dietz.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 5, 2025 at Blantyre Baptist Church, State Route 1501, Pisgah Forest, NC, at 2:00 p.m.
