Joan S. Donato, 84, of Brevard, NC, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at her home. A native of New York, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes Zavaglia Daddazio. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Cheryl Newcomb.
Joan enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and she was an avid reader.
She is survived by one son, Ralph Donato (Kathy) of Brevard, NC, one daughter, Debra Nocera (Fred) of Pennsylvania, four grandchildren, Matthew Mlay, Christopher Donato, Kevin Donato and Caroline Newcomb and two great granddaughters; Finnley and Daley Donato.
