Josephine Kline

Josephine A. Kline, 90, of Brevard, NC passed away August 24, 2016 at The Oaks of Brevard. Born on November 25, 1925 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, Josephine was the daughter of the late Anthony and Olive Hutch Strapkovic.
Josephine was a devoted mother and a devout Catholic her entire life, initially as a parishioner of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Charleroi. After graduating high school, she worked briefly in the insurance industry in Charleroi before turning her complete attention to raising her four children: Charles, Rosemary, Kristine and Susan. As the family grew and moved away, she eventually moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1980 where she worked tirelessly as a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital. For the last several years she lived with her daughter Rosemary in Brevard, North Carolina, becoming a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Josephine is survived by her sister Joyce, her four children; six grandchildren: Jimmy, Tyler, Annah, Charlie, K.C., and Luke; and seven great-grandchildren: Eli, Emma. Lily, Caylor, Ella, Hadley and Lillian.
A Memorial Mass for Josephine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brevard.
