Laura Yost Huish
Brevard - Laura Yost Huish, 89, died on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Kingsbridge House.
She was a daughter of the late Russell and Ruth Dorworth Yost. She graduated from Swarthmore College and the University of Illinois.
Mrs. Huish is survived by her husband Melvin T. Huish; daughters, Peggy Elliott of Athens, GA, Betsy McGhee and husband Steve of Clemmons, NC; a son, Ben Huish of Conner, GA; a sister Barbara Stewart of Lansdale, PA; a brother, Russell Yost of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends in honor of Mrs. Huish will be held at the Huish home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 2pm until 4pm.
