Lenora Ann Golden

Lenora Ann Golden, 83, of Brevard, NC, died peacefully June 9, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She is the daughter of the late Harry and Frances Roger McBride. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Golden, her twin-brother, Tommy McBride and her sister, Evelyn Shipman.

She is survived by two daughters; Deborah Sherman (Johnny) of Hendersonville, NC, Robin Golden (Tammy Rollins) of Brevard, NC one son; Anthony Golden (Tammy Moore) of Bristol, TN, a sister; Linda Leslie (Alvin) of Brevard, NC, three grandchildren; Randi Gant, Jordan Sherman (Shawna), Brianna Leonard (Ben), four great grandchildren; Everett, Everli, Zoey and Braxton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lenora was a Brevard High School graduate and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served in many capacities for many years. She loved spending time with her family and truly enjoyed being creative, making crafts of every type.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Rev. Tyler Frank officiating.
