Ola Lance

Ola McGaha Lance, 89, of Brevard, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at her home.

A lifelong resident of Transylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cordia Holden McGaha. She was preceded in death by her husband George Washington Lance, a daughter; Cecilia Ann Lance, four brothers; Arthur, Phillip, Joe and Walter McGaha, and two sisters; Laura McGaha and Cecilia Clark.

Ola attended school at Dunn's Rock Community Center when it was a school.

She is survived by two sons; Joe C. Lance of Greenville, NC and Stanley E. Lance or Rosman, NC, one daughter; Rachel L. Bracken and husband Gene of Brevard, NC, two grandchildren; Jason E. Bracken and wife Jessica, and Autumn Grace Lance and two great grandchildren; Kenley Grace Bracken and Khloe Lynn Bracken and her dog; Misty.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Connestee Cemetery with Rev. Sean Dodson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one's charity of choice.
