Perry Sitton

Perry Lee Sitton, 76, of Pisgah Forest, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Transylvania Regional Hospital.



A native of Transylvania County, he was a son of the late Harry Lee and Evelyn Baynard Sitton.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Anne Sitton who died in 1966.



He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. He retired from Ecusta and Olin as a chemist.  He was a beloved friend to all animals and enjoyed being a rock hound.



He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Cricket Sitton, three sons; Flint Sitton , Steve Sitton and Greg Sitton all of Pisgah Forest, N.C., one daughter; Jenny Quinn and husband Al of Pisgah Forest, two brothers; Orval Sitton and Harold Sitton both of Mills River, four sisters; Betty Ann Stiles of Little River, NC, Helen Baker of Brevard, NC, Peggy Justus of Lexington, KY and Susie Waldrop of Pisgah Forest, NC, one aunt; Edith Ashe,  one uncle; Wilbren and wife Dottie Baynard , eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.



The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with funeral services following 2:00 PM. with Rev. Raymond Whitfield officiating.  Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
