Peter Jeffrey St. John, 43, of Brevard, NC died November 1, 2025.
He is the son of Mary-Elin Demarest Ragnone of Maine and the late Herbert Edward St. John (NC). In addiition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father Fredrick J. VanRoessel. He was born in Orange County, CA on September 8, 1982 and grew up in northern, New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Felice St. John, his son, Caleb, and his daughter, Mina, as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, in-laws and three nephews and a niece.
He was a wonderful, loving and devoted father and cherished time with his family. Pete was “free-spirited, adventurous, nurturing and awesome” as described by his children. He was incredibly creative and talented, a highly skilled designer and craftsman. He renovated several properties, breathing new life into them. One such local property included the Rosman Family Place, which he completed in 2019 for families to gather and connect.
Pete loved being outside. It is where he felt closest to God. He enjoyed the ocean, fishing, hiking and hammocking among the trees. He was frequently coming up with new and creative inventions. Pete was a visionary and would often imagine and execute creative design solutions.
Pete was a brilliant original who left his mark on this world and on our hearts and will be deeply missed by family and friends near and far until we meet again in heaven.
