Reba Betty Jane Henderson Reese

Reba Betty Jane Henderson Reese, 90, of Pisgah Forest, went to Heaven on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 while surrounded by her loved ones. A native of Transylvania and Henderson Counties, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Agnes Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mack Reese, her sister Vivian Williams, and her brothers Clay, Joe and Thomas Henderson,

Betty was a seamstress, business owner and a Master Crafter. She lived in and raised her children in Brevard, North Carolina.

Her loving survivors include her children, daughters Pamela Reese McCall and husband Frank of Brevard, April Reese McTier and her husband Frank of Stapleton, GA, Sheila Candy Reese Ball and husband Ken of Lyman, SC., Angel Reese Downing and husband Gene of Cocoa, FL., and Juanita Reese Mason of Brevard; sons: Herbert Dale Reese of Hendersonville, NC, Mack Anthony “Tony” Reese and wife Autumn of Lake Toxaway, NC, Douglas Todd Reese and wife Deanna of Brevard, and Tracey “Boo-Boo” Reese and wife Crystal of Pisgah Forest, NC; 26 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; her sisters Brenda Beaty of Pierce City, MO and Sandy Bailey of Brevard, NC; and her brother, Timothy Henderson of Brevard, NC.

Funeral Services for Betty Henderson Reese will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church, 805 Capps Road, Pisgah Forest, NC 2876 with Rev. Kyle Reese and Rev. Jordan Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM, prior to the service at the church.
