Shirley Lilge

Shirley Ann Lilge, 82, of Pisgah Forest, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth Emma Louise Markey Lilge. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her nephew, Michael Hefner, niece Georgialee Daniels and sisters Donna Daniels and Mae Jean Sheerin.
She retired from Cleveland State University as a math professor and enjoyed summers at her cottage in Michigan. After retirement she moved to Transylvania where she enjoyed her retirement since 1996.
She is survived by her niece Donielle (Anil) Sharma of Daphne, Alabama and her nephew Patrick (Donna) Hefner of Ortonville, Michigan.
Burial will be at Crescent Hills Cemetery in Waterford, Michigan.
