Yvonne Owen

Yvonne Owen, 72, of Brevard, went to her heavenly home December 26, 2023. A native of Altoona, Alabama she was the daughter of the late Columbus New Year Clanton and Myrtle Whitehead Clanton. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, April Owen Trotter, and her son, Conrad Owen; four brothers, Newgene, Newman and Roy & David Clanton; three sisters, Helen Morgan, Flora Ashe and Rachel Wilemon; two nephews, Adrian Wilemon.

She was a homemaker for many years until her children were older. She then went to work for Mitchell Bissell Industries. She Enjoyed baking, artwork, crochet but most of all her love of family.  You couldn't leave her presence without a big hug, warm smile and an "I love you".

Survivors include her daughters Beverly Moore and Carrie Lance; grandchildren: Destiny Owen, Logan Trotter, Brittany L. Rice, Talon Owen, Hope Owen, Faith O. Roque and Kaine Moore and several Great-grandchildren whom they adored.

Memorial services for Yvonne Owen will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time for the service.
